Las Palmeras campsite has been awarded by the main German association of caravan users, Deutscher Camping Club (DCC), which has over 85,000 members.
The awarded Price is the DCC Europa-Preis, which acknowledges the quality of this type of tourism establishments.
These awards are granted since 1996 and are awarded in one selected Campsite in each country based on assessments of inspectors and customers.

The campsite Las Palmeras of Sant Pere Pescador has been awarded with the ZOOVER AWARD GOLD 2017 prize that gives its ratings, users of tourist accommodation through this platform of Dutch ratings and critics.
This award recognizes the quality of tourist establishments (campsites, hotels, apartments, hostels, lodges, etc.) at an international level. The requirements are to obtain a mark equal to or greater than 9 with a minimum of 50 annual reviews. The Las Palmeras camping has obtained the highest score and is the first year that receives this award.
The aspects valued by the users are: the general experience in the campsite; the relation quality price; the restaurant; the pool; the sanitary and its location in the camping, as well as the hygiene and if it is “children friendly”. This recognition helps the travelers to identify the establishments that regularly offer a good service and have good facilities.

So the campsite in its policy regarding the environment, has returned to install more solar panels for hot water, to provide warm water to heat the pool, the hot water in showers and the camping’s toilets.
By increasing the panels and accumulators are leveraging even better performance of the solar system, so that when the pool does not need more heat, it automatically passes to the accumulators at the sanitary block and so can provide showers, toilets and washing machines in the laundry.
This way we lower the fuel consumption and pollution of boilers coming to get an energy saving of 35%.
The site following its policy of respect for the environment has changed their two small gasoil trucks by other electrical. This way there will be less pollution, by gases and also acoustically.
In recent years Camping Palmeras has been awarded by the major car clubs and travel websites reviews.
